As a result of the attention paid in our country in recent years to the development of production in the field of electrical engineering, the development of new types of products has significantly increased production and exports.

The production of modern household appliances, including televisions, washing machines, electric ovens and stoves, LED lamps and various lighting devices, as well as new models of air conditioners, refrigerators and gas stoves has been established.

Competitive products such as cables, electrical appliances, household appliances are exported to Central Asia, the Commonwealth of Independent States and other foreign countries.

There is no doubt that the production of electrical products in accordance with the standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) will contribute to improving the quality of products, increasing their competitiveness and increasing their exports.

Taking into account the above-mentioned, on January 17 of the current year, an online meeting was held with the experts of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Gilena Fournette, Aristea Kiriakati, Antoinette Pittelud with the participation of the Agency for Technical Regulation, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, JV UzAssystem LLC, the Uzeltehsanoat Association and the member companies of the Association.

During the meeting with experts of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the parties exchanged views on the adoption of standards in accordance with the requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), their extension to enterprises, the functioning of IEC technical committees.

The IEC event participants received detailed answers to all their questions from IEC experts.

At the end of the event, it was decided to receive regular consultations from IEC experts on the adoption of IEC standards, their dissemination to enterprises, and the work of technical committees.
