In accordance with a Presidential resolution dated 21 October 2016 “On a programme for constructing affordable apartment houses on the basis of updated standard projects in rural areas in the years 2017-2021”, modern and comfy homes are being built in all the regions of this country.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has inspected the work of the Bakht Imkon Rivoj Chorvasi multi-functional farm in Oltinkol District. 

At the agency Uzstandard on May 24 of the current year, was held the meeting chaired by Director General of the Uzbek Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Agency Uzstandard Mr. Khaitov Aktam Akhmadovich and Deputy Chairman of the TICA - Mahmet Sureia Era.

In accordance with the invitation of the President of the Turkish Standards Institute - Sebahattin Korkmaz, with the aim of developing bilateral relations and bringing them to a new level,  on April 26-27 this year Director General of the Uzstandard Agency, carried out a visit to the Turkish Republic.

In order to establish mutually beneficial relations in the field of metrology with the Republic of Turkey, on April 27 this year,  within the framework of the visit to the Republic of Turkey, Director General of the Uzstandard Agency conducted negotiations with the President of the National Institute of Metrology of Turkey (UME) - Dr. Mustafa Çetintaş.

In order to give a new impetus to bilateral relations in the sphere of accreditation with Turkey, on April 28 of this year, during the visit to the Republic of Turkey, the Director General of the Uzstandard Agency conducted a conversation with the Secretary General of the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TURKAK) - Dr. Ibrahim Halil Çetin.

On February 25, 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Central Asia of the United States of America Daniel Rosenblum, who is on a visit to Uzbekistan.

US President Donald Trump sent a congratulatory message to Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in connection with the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United States of America. 

Today President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Surkhandarya region to review the progress of social-economic reforms in the region and creative and improvements works as well as to uphold a dialogue with people.

On February 8, 2017 Uzbek-Kuwaiti Business Forum was held in Kuwait city. The governmental delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is in the State of Kuwait on an official visit, attended the forum.
